Before being removed from the donor vehicle, our MINI B37 engines are tested using professional diagnostic equipment.

We carry out in-depth diagnostic checks to identify any fault codes, including oil pressure faults, injector faults, turbo-related faults, and timing correlation faults.

Where possible, engines are run up to operating temperature and closely inspected by our experienced staff to ensure they are performing correctly before approval for removal.

Once we are confident the engine is in full working order, it is professionally removed by trained members of staff.

During this stage, key components are inspected to identify any signs of wear. Where required, timing components and related parts are checked and replaced if outside acceptable tolerances.

Following our testing and inspection procedures, we are confident in the quality of the engines we supply. However, should any issue arise, we are happy to liaise directly with your mechanic.

If required, vehicles can be recovered to the Quarry Motors Servicing and Repair Centre for further inspection.

Our engines are supplied as short or bare engines without ancillaries.

Many ancillary components, such as turbochargers, injectors, high-pressure fuel system components, and sensors, differ between model specifications. For this reason, it is best practice to transfer these components from your original engine to ensure correct compatibility.

If additional parts are required, they can be supplied at competitive rates with your engine purchase.

All engines must be turned over by hand prior to installation to ensure the cylinders are free of debris.

Warranty begins from the date of accepted delivery and covers the engine unit only. Associated labour costs and external components are not included.

If any issue is found to be the result of incorrect installation by an external garage, charges may apply for inspection and rectification.
